Room was a great size, full kitchen, clean and came with a nice view. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we are in Brisbane. M on Mary surprised me at the value for money. I knew it was an apartment, but the size, facilities, and self-contained aspects made this a very pleasant place to stay. Will definitely be coming back here in the future. Hotel stay was pleasant but the receptionist were not flexible for parking service during our stay.
Different receptionists different points of suggestions n handling of matters. Parking is expensive Not very helpful in solving our queries.. I dared to ask why the reception staff needed my credit card when I had already booked and paid through Agoda and wow did I pay for this. To try to make me angrier, I was then told there was no parking for me even though I had booked and paid for the hotel room 2-months prior.
The swimming pool is only 1. To get to the small pool, you must walk through the small, smelly gym, around people working out. Both the gym and pool have no towels, I could go on but Average hotel in an above average location. Clean but very dated rooms. Terrible shower design with a huge bath to step into, recommend elderly look elsewhere. Good location and very nice big room.

Staff is very nice and friendly. My husband and I stay in Brisbane several times per year to attend horse racing. We have our preferred hotel but like to mix it up and try a new place from time to time. I often wondered about Mantra on Mary as we can usually see it from another hotel. We got a good deal and were impressed that we were booking an apartment instead of the usual hotel room. The facilities were modern, clean and practical and the location is exactly where we like to be.

We were so surprised however when we realised that they did not offer free wifi, and it was costly to purchase. We are seasoned travellers both domestically and overseas and I can not remember the last time that wifi was not complimentary in a hotel. Hotel rooms come equipped with a full functioning kitchen, coffee and tea set, air con and bathroom amenities. The swimming pool, gym, sauna and barbeque area are welcomed facilities to the hotel and can be accessed up till hours daily.
You are also central to a number of varied restaurants, take away food shops, cafes, pubs and shopping centres so you will be spoilt for choice. Badly damaged furniture and noisy international students doing karaoke and yelling at all hours. Such a shame as the room have great city views The room had really tiny windows and felt like a cave. I know there are some nicer apartments in the building so it was just a spot of bad luck that I got the "Dungeon".
This was a fantastic hotel for my stay in Brisbane.
Location was good, staff were friendly. My only negative comment would be the very high windows that did not allow for much of a view across Brisbane.
